The number one rule of urban landscape photography is not to forget about patterns. In this picture, I was lucky enough to be able to play with the shadows, colors, and patterns.

This photo was taken when I visited Savannah, Georgia. It represents an east wing of the Elkhart-Goshen, Ind. factory, a leader in the vehicle industry.

This image is, by far, my most celebrated work. I adore combining urban landscapes and black & white photography 一 toying with shadows and patterns is an endless hobby of mine.

This is a shot of a Warren-Troy-Farmington Hills container, taken in the Detroit area. I loved how the two shades of blue complemented one another.

This landscape is one of the photos I am most proud of. Playing with shadows and patterns has always been my true passion.

This shot was taken early in the morning, minutes before the sunset. I love the smoothness of the shadows and how the sun complements that shade of the building.

The photo was shot in a diner in Portland, Oregon after a couple has left the table. When they were eating, they were arguing. Once they left, I took a photo of the booth, as it reminded me of the energy they left behind.

When shooting urban landscapes, my goal is to find fascinating details, patterns, or shapes that catch the spectators’ attention. After searching for the perfect place to take the shot, this was the most rewarding photo I took in Chicago.

When I was walking down the streets of Ohio, I noticed the Downtown Library, a ‘70s-inspired building. The photo was taken at 6 a.m., as I wanted to capture all the beauty of its design and play with the shadows a bit.
