When I was taking this portrait, I wanted to combine the past and present. Jeremiah, the model, dressed in the latest fashion, inspired me to give the image a softer touch, almost ‘40s, and ‘50s vibe.

When shooting this photo, I was reminding myself constantly that a big part of the photography is finding the right moment to press the shutter button. When it comes to this image, freezing such a magnificent moment is priceless.

This portrait is one of the examples of selective focus photography. I believe that warm-toned images of models posing almost effortlessly are the ones that have the most “personality”.

This portrait was shot for the Off-White Pre Fall Collection in 2017. I love the contrast between the vibrant orange and the cool-toned, greyish blue in the background.
